The Tour de Capitello is a Genoese tower located in the commune of Grosseto-Prugna on the coast of the French island of Corsica. The tower lies to the south of Ajaccio near the Porticcio beach. The construction of the tower was begun in 1552. It is one of a series of coastal defences constructed by the Republic of Genoa between 1530 and 1620 to stem the attacks by Barbary pirates.

Depuis le parking au niveau de la paillote, une pancarte indique la direction du sentier de la tour de Capitello. Prendre à droite sur la plage et longer l'étang de Casavone en direction des rochers. On devine le sentier qui nous amène jusqu'à la tour génoise. La promenade en bord de mer est agréable et peut se faire en famille ou entre ami(e)s. Il faut environ dix minutes de marche pour.
